Upon receiving the spindle, we disassemble, clean, and evaluate it to isolate issues and determine why it failed. We test:
- Drawbar pull force by measuring the spindle’s ability to grip the tool holder.
- Motor parts to check for shorts or insulation issues.
- Encoders and sensors to ensure they generate an accurate signal.
Our team also inspects spindle parts for damage and wear through a visual assessment and measures the taper, face, pilot, shaft, and housing to identify fit and size issues.
