We’ll take the spindle apart and clean all its components. Next, we’ll isolate its issues to determine the reason it failed.

We’ll complete a full inspection of critical components like spacers, bearing journals, bushings, shoulders, bore, caps, and more. During the inspection, we’ll look for signs of improper fit or size, damage, and wear.

After evaluating the problem and the repairs needed, we’ll send a firm price quote for free and without obligation. We’ll start work right away once the quote is accepted or return the spindle if you change your mind.

Setco replaces or reconditions parts to OEM specifications. We will sleeve and machine housings, replace bearings, check electrical parts, replace seals and O-rings, chrome and reground shafts, replace drawbar seals and springs, and check components for balance until the spindle performs like new.

We’ll put the spindle back together, precision balance the components, and run off the spindle under controlled conditions until it’s thermally stabilized at maximum speed. Setco stores baseline vibration and other testing data electronically using a serial number.

Setco will return the spindle, along with full documentation, certification, and a written warranty.
